1. Gateway Safety 6980 Glasses Protective

Gateway Safety 6980 Glasses Protective

The one-piece lens is compatible with most prescription glasses. There is a lightweight design with a different fit. Temple tips are flexible to minimize pinching behind the head. Ansi Z87.1 is a person. Csa Z94.3 Impact Standards are included.

Brand: Gateway Safety

👤I have to wear goggles for the entire 12 hour nursing shifts. I needed a pair of glasses that would fit over my regular glasses. The goggles have been great. I shared the link with nearly all of my coworkers after buying several pair. Many of my coworkers ordered goggles that didn't fit over their glasses. These really do. Thanks for a great product!

👤They'll do the job, and my glasses fit under them, but I wish they were a bit more snug, as they feel like they may fall off if I'm looking down for too long. My glasses are wide and fit well under my goggles. Put the glasses in the goggles and put the other pairs on at the same time. These are not air tight and may not meet some demands. They aren't flushed to the face.

👤I find all of the good reviews and product claims to be lacking when it comes to the actual product. I received two bottles of automotive wax with my order. The box arrived in perfect condition and yet one of the glasses had a cracked left side lens and was badly damaged. Amazon didn't want the broken pair to be sent back. I did some testing of my own. I was able to easily break them by hand with a small amount of flexing, and also they scratch very badly and easily by wiping them off. The tag on the glasses states that it is CSA approved, but no where on the product does it say that. The safety ratings claims were found on the plastic wrapper. I would not trust my safety to this product if it breaks so easily, and the ratings on the product are not clearly marked. Break easily and scratch easily are the pros and cons of fit over glasses. No markings on the glasses themselves, which means no use in the workplace.

👤I needed glasses for the lab. I'm blind without my glasses so I was looking for something like this. I am very sleepy. Excellent quality for the price. A picture of me wearing them was attached. Hope that helps you with the size.

👤I am confused by the positive reviews of the Gateway cover2 safety glasses. My reading glasses are small and they fit poorly. I can fit four fingers on each side of the glasses, from the middle of my eyebrows to the sides of my temples. They aren't providing any protection. The plastic isn't very clear, so you will get eyestrain after a while. I find the plastic to be sharp against my nose and nostrils. The Uvex Ultra-spec is a big improvement over the Gateway and I am happy I bought it at the same time.

👤These are the best safety glasses I've ever used. The arms don't get into my head. The arms are made out of one solid piece of material, so no splitting like those horrible Uvex ones I struggled with for years. These fit over my glasses and over all of my co-workers' glasses as well. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing safety glasses when I wear these. These are my favorite pair of safety glasses, and they are cheaper than every other pair. I might buy another pair as a spare. All of my co-workers and superiors in the lab believe that these are just as safe as the Uvex glasses. These glasses are beautiful!

2. Walkers Game Ear GWP RSEMPAT FDE Electronic

Walkers Game Ear GWP RSEMPAT FDE Electronic

Hearing protection and hunting range gear. The materials are of the highest quality. Another great product from Walker.

Brand: Walker's

👤I loved these muffs from the moment I got them. I was able to carry a conversation with those I was working with, even though I was suffering from tinnitus. They aren't suited for running saws and such, at least not with the amplifier on. They're not much protective for shooting anything louder than a.22. They were great for pneumatic nailers and hammering activities, which lasted for a while. I ordered more to keep at different places because I liked them so much that I wanted a set that was always useful. When the amplifier from the first set died after about 7 months of light to barely moderate use, I used 33 db muffs, which are more protective, and only use them for an hour or two per week. I wanted to give Walker a chance to fix the situation because I loved the product so much. I'll have to look for another product to meet my needs, as Walker has proven their brand to be unreliable and untrustworthy, as my attempts to contact them through their support system went without even a reply.

👤The new Walker's Razor Slim muffs worked great when I tried them at the shooting range. Walker's won hands down when I tested them against another brand of electronic muffs. When I use them to shoot a trap or rifle, they fit well. I've tried hitting the gun stock and pulling the protection off my ear. The volume control allows me to adjust it to my liking. I find that they allow me to hear better when they are on my ears than when they aren't. I could hear birds in the vicinity and a truck up a hill on the road, but Walker's Razor killed the gun shots of my friend next to me. When we go to the range, I ordered another set of Walker's for my family and friends because I highly recommend them.

👤Went shooting Saturday after arriving Friday. They were on for 4 hours. After 30 minutes, they began to hurt. It was tight. The plastic base inside the cups is touching my ears. I have prescription sunglasses that are tight. The padding doesn't have much inside so it collapses easily. The Walker gel pads are upgraded. Thursday is when mine will arrive. I'll take the test then. They do work. People are talking and others are shooting. Awesome. It was used outdoors with 12guage. Everything was muffled. I turned up the volume and heard my son talking. When you buy the upgraded Walker Gel pads, buy them now.

👤The listing states that the earphones turn off automatically, but it looks like they don't. They were dead when I came back to the range. Great for a gun range. I like being able to change the volume. It was interesting to have my first pair of electronic muffs. When I first got the package, I couldn't hear my TV, but once I turned on the microphones, I heard it. The noise cancellation was perfect when I went to the gun range. I could still hear my friends. It helps tone down the fun shots.

Howard Leight Honeywell Sharp Shooter R 03570

👤I ordered a pair of glasses. The right lens was the first to arrive with a large group of scratches. The scratches were bad enough to be noticeable while wearing them. The new pair is better, but it still has scratches on the lens from the pack. The glasses come in a pack that isn't protective enough, and the lenses get scratched when they are shipped. I received my 3rd pair of glasses from Amazon after returning the first two scratched up pairs. The third pair is perfect. I liked them so much that I bought another set, but this time the one that came with two additional colored glasses was perfect. I received two more from a bad batches. These are great if you get ones with no defects. Highly recommended for the price. I don't like returning items to Amazon, but I might have to do it with this second pair.

👤We bought 4 pairs of these so that family members could take a Concealed Weapon Carry course in Florida. The glasses are comfortable and have a great field of vision. Hearing protection and safety glasses were required of me when I was a child. My hearing has already declined by over 50%, even though I have never suffered eye damage. The first time I wore them, I realized how important they were. They survived a "first hit" test when a.380 shell jumped over my daughter's shoulder and hit me in the right lens of my glasses. That personal experience is the best testimony you can get. There was no damage to the glasses, but a new respect from me for the $11.00 pair of safety glasses. Highly recommend!

👤These glasses will not fit an Asian user. The review is not racist but Asian fit is an actual thing for goggle/glasses. The reason I'm reviewing it negatively is because of how narrow these are. My face does not need glasses that are "Asian fit", but these do not work on my face at all. The nose rest rests on my high Asian cheek bones.

👤These glasses are not for target shooting. I used them for about 10 minutes and realized they were messing with my vision. The glasses are not clear but they change your vision. I don't understand.

👤I bought these because of the gaps in my hearing protection. The ear loops are thin and allow for a perfect seal over my ears. The vents between the brow pad and the lens help prevent fogging up in hot environments.

👤I ordered the ear protection. They work well together. The stuff I was using at the range was very uncomfortable and pushed into my head. These are comfortable. They are clear and not scratched. I bought a protective case to keep them safe. I keep them in my car and I will update the review if they cause me problems. The price was good when I bought mine. It's about $11 or so. I bought a second pair of ear protection for my child. I can't complain because all 3 items were under $25.00. No more paying to use the range. They will pay for themselves, and they are much nicer to use.

👤Not bad for the price. They are light. These barely have enough squeeze to keep from falling off my face. I don't know if they would stay put if I were doing a lot of movement and bending over. I think they would stay on, but I'm not sure. The wraparound design of the lens makes them almost unnoticeable in your peripheral vision, and how lightweight they are makes them pretty discreet to wear.

👤Great for someone with a big head. There are only a few comments that are lightweight and comfortable to wear. They don't want to follow up my face when I'm forward so this makes them a good match for most people.

👤They are lightweight and have a good coverage of the visual field. They wouldn't stay in place and keep sliding. The yellow detailing on the side is annoying as it gets caught in my hair when I take them off. There is a If I can get the end of the bow behind the ears to fit better, they will be great.

👤Good deal, nice and sturdy. A good price for a multipack. I use them because now I have a pair at each work station, instead of being lazy and not wanting to go to the other station to get a pair.

👤The exception is that there isn't any adjustment. They don't stay where they're supposed to. I tried to bend the bows for a snugger fit, but it didn't work. My old one could adjust the bows for length and they fit behind the ears, but I can't find an adjustment.

👤I have to protect my eyes. These goggles are not even close to my prescription glasses. To verify, do your own test. I used a UV sensitive medium to test it.

👤I've been a mechanic for 17 years. A lot of safety glasses. Don't stay on face when working because the fit is loose. Not the best. Should have gone with Dewalt for glasses.

👤I can wear eye protection. I don't like the face that can't see and cause you to sweat quicker. I found these and decided to give them a try and they work well, feel lightweight, and don't Fog on me!

Brand: Prohear

👤They handle firing pistols outdoors just fine, but haven't tried them with a rifle or indoors. If you want to upgrade to the gel pad version, I recommend that you do. The foam ones are not as comfortable with glasses, safety or otherwise. Sometime in the next week or so, I'll be going to an indoor range. I'll be bringing along IEM headphones for an extra layer of protection, as well as for music. Will update after that. If you want to listen to music at an indoor range, you should probably go for that or earplugs, because the echo will add to the NRR. They worked perfectly after being fired off over 100 rounds of 9mm from a small car. I can't vouch for its effectiveness if you're next to a guy with a short barreled.308 and a muzzle brake. Maybe move a few lanes. Again, go for the gel pads or the version that comes with them. Other than that? There were no complaints.

👤I had purchased Sig ear protection because of the name. I bought the ProEars after selling the guns and ear protectors. They work hard. It's comfortable, come with a case, easy to fold up and fit in my range bag, and knock out all the guns downrange. I highly recommend these!

👤The set of head gear is very nice. They are very light and take up very little room in my bag. When I tested them in my home by clapping or playing loud music, I didn't think they'd be very effective with gun fire, but when I heard loud noises, they held up just fine. I like that I can talk to someone when I need help and I can hear what they are saying without having to look for an ear or two.

👤We don't have to share the ones we got from the gun range. I like having my own set that I don't have to worry about who used them last or if they were cleaned. I have borrowed others, but these work better.

👤26 decibels? I don't think so. Not even close. They were compared to less expensive tacklife. I felt I needed more protection after testing them at the shooting range. If everyone is shooting 22 caliber but not 9mm or higher caliber gun, it's ok.

👤They worked really well for the first time I used them. It was very comfortable. I didn't know I had them on. I was able to talk with my sons. The price is a great value.

👤They do what is expected. Not all hearing protection has to be very expensive. I already have a pair of hearing pro that fit my head, so I didn't need noise canceling. The job was done perfectly with these. cups hugged my head without causing headaches from other ear pro You can grab a pair and see for yourself.

👤Great protection. I used these at the shooting range and they were comfortable. The carrying bag was an added bonus as they seem slimmer than others. The product is worth the money.

6. Smith Wesson Accessories Interchangeable Shooting

Smith Wesson Accessories Interchangeable Shooting

It can be made in the USA or imported. The "one-touch" pop-out method that does not require any flexing or bending of the frames to complete, makes it easy to change out the glasses. LIABLE: The UV400 rating protects your eyes in high sunlight. Also included: There is a hard case with microfiber cloth.

Brand: Smith & Wesson

👤I was excited to get these because they were the right price, style, and Smith & Wesson branded, so I expected them to be decent quality glasses. I don't expect them to last because the plastic looks like cheap gas station glasses and I noticed immediately that they were plastic. The slide on the frame is not necessary. Without the Ear pro, they don't feel bad on my head, but I can feel them digging on my head with ear pro on, which I prefer. The case they came with was nice, and I didn't see any scratches to my glasses. I feel like the case and the spare lens set are not worth the money I paid because I won't use them due to my ear pro cases having a spot for glasses as well. I have regular $30 dollar sunglasses that feel better. I hope I don't have to test the "Safety" part of the lens.

👤I needed a cheap pair of glasses to throw into my hunting backpack and I didn't want my glasses to get scratched. After reading some not so great reviews, I wasn't expecting much. I was wrong. These things are very nice. They have 4 sets of interchangeable lens. They can be swapped out with a little button on the side of the frame. Each set comes with its own bag. There is a pocket in the case that holds all the glasses and a belt clip to carry it on your pack. The case is made of the same material as the expensive brand name shades. Buy them if you are on the fence. You will not be disappointed. My husband wants a set.

👤I really wanted a pair that could swap lens. The M&P offering can be entered. I thought it would be nice to keep the M&P range bag in the family. I was wrong. The product line doesn't trim off the excess plastic because the mold doesn't seal correctly and the plastic has tabs everywhere. First impressions were not very good. The release system was not user friendly when I tried to change the lens. If you bought these for use with the Walker active hearing protection line, return them. I gave two stars instead of one for the concept and three for the failed attempt. Smith and Wesson, you can do better.

👤Great glasses. They fit nicely and look great. They don't play well with earmuffs due to their design. I found that with different muffs they would either push the muffs away to where I couldn't hear everything or mashed into my temples, leaving me with a headaches after a few minutes. I would like to see them with a set of clear lens. The shades were neat, but I am more often in a situation where I'd be clear than rose or amber. I use them for once a month for outdoor range time, and a pair of safety glasses for indoor range use.

👤My shooting buddies want these. We were in the mountains of Utah taking target practice and the conditions quickly changed. A day I remember fondly, a constant high wind with bright sunshine to dark storm clouds covering up all of our light and soaking us just long enough to get the gear covered and the sun to come back out, was a day I will never forget. It was the first time I had ever taken these glasses for a spin. You're golden if you figure it out the first time. Don't get frustrated, take your time. You can watch a video. I need these in a different color.

7. Glasses Protective Eyewear Protection Shooting

Brand: Solidwork

👤The nurse is wearing these to protect her. Our biggest thing right now is that they don't fog up. Definitely recommend.

👤It was very useful in the hospital during the coronaviruses epidemic.

👤I bought several different pieces of eyewear for work during Covid-19. I am a nurse. For wear during shift. These are lovely. They can be adjusted. You can wear your glasses under them. They can be cleaned with our Disinfectants. I bought a few more sets for my friends. I wear mine underneath because they don't take the place of a face shield. Excellent for trauma and splash protection.

👤There are chips on the lens. I can deal with it. Temples are not inflexible. The glasses fit inside. Has a good amount of space. 2/6 The replacement photo was the last one. It has chips and speck. I tried to wipe it off. I think it is too expensive. There is a glare with or without glasses. I will try it for a week and see if it works out. It fogs. It's still clearer than other goggles.

👤These goggles are very well made. They fit over my glasses, but there is a terrible glare in the goggles itself, even without my glasses on. The glare is very bright. I plan to come back.

👤I was a little worried about fitting them around my glasses, but I was glad I bought them. They are comfortable and great quality.

👤It fit over my glasses. There was no glare. It was comfortable. Even though the original estimated shipment time should have been at least 1 week, it was shipped within 48 hours thanks to Amazon Prime.

👤Perfect fit over glasses. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear.

8. Walkers Razor Slim Electronic Black

Walkers Razor Slim Electronic Black

The cups are razor-thin. Two omni microphones. The sound activated protection over 89DB is at 0.02 reaction time.

Brand: Walker's

👤I wasn't impressed by the muffs at first. I feel like they didn't do enough to limit sound at the shooting range, but I have done a couple of things to make them a better product. I keep the dial on the right side of my head. I initially wore them with the volume adjustment on my left. I don't know why this matters, they seem to be the same on each side. It shouldn't matter how they are dressed. I get a better seal when they are worn with the volume adjustment on the right. 2. When shooting a rifle, I started wearing foam ear plugs. I was annoyed at first, but I was more comfortable and gun fire was much quieter. The ability to talk and converse with someone else, which otherwise is impossible, is still provided by these. Especially at indoor ranges. My wife and I can both have a pair when we go to the range together. Being able to talk without having to get close to each other and scream is nice. Every 30 seconds. They seem to be of good quality. I have not been blown out of the water. I don't have any concerns either. The first pair is a little over a year old, but they have not yet shown signs of wear and tear. I would recommend them to others. They are definitely worth getting at their current price point, but I still need to wear foam ear plugs underneath them, so I am going to knock one star off. They have exceeded my expectations. A few stars. Both pairs are doing well. I have not had any issues. I swapped out the ear cups for Walker's "Gel Cups" and have been impressed. The gel cups seem to help form a better seal around your ear if you wear them for more than a couple hours. I would recommend it. The gel cups enhance the product. I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so that I can help other people decide on an item. If you found my review helpful, you should hit the "helpful" button below.

👤I already had a pair of ear muffs and they are very comfortable and work great at the range. They get 5 stars. The negative review was caused by some false advertising from Amazon. I wanted these muffs because they were being sold with 50 N95 respirators for the same price. I ordered the muffs because I wanted to get some hard to find PPE for my local hospital, and I thought how badly needed more of these N95s were. If it meant protecting myself and my co-workers, I was happy to pay the price. The muffs came but no masks. I'm hoping that Amazon will acknowledge the fact that this happened and address the problem. It's shameful to take advantage of customers during a time of crisis, and I'm not happy with Amazon.

👤People are being tricked into buying a product that they are not getting the masks they were promised. The product is good.

9. Shooting Safety Glasses Use Prescription

Shooting Safety Glasses Use Prescription

It is certified to the requirements of the CSA Z94.3 standard and has a 7x higher impact test requirement. Safety glasses come in clear and protect your glasses. 100% UV protection is provided by metallic coating. The fit-over prescription safety glasses have an impact resistance rating of Z87.1 Over-sized temples are designed to not add pressure to the side of your head and are vented to reduce fogging. A rubber guard on the top ensures a comfortable fit and the wrap-around frame doesn't impede your field of view. Those looking for more coverage can use shooting safety glasses, they don't interfere with many styles of shooting earmuffs.

Brand: Allen Company

👤I'm going to have to find another pair after shooting with these for a few months. I've had two instances of shell coming back at me and getting between the glasses and my eye. The first time the case went through, it didn't touch anything. I continued to wear the glasses despite writing it off. The last time the casing got through the area where my brow ridge meets my nose, it got caught between my face and my glasses. It was too close for comfort to keep using these and luckily it didn't touch my eye. You might say that the glasses were too snug on my face to allow me to get through. I can say that they must have moved due to fit because they started out that way. I don't trust them to protect my eyes.

👤These are just oversized safety glasses that do not fit correctly over other glasses to provide safety protection. They are large enough to cover my glasses but not my eyes because they sit so far from my face and eyes. The lens area should be deeper so they nested better over other glasses and still fit a little closer to the face around those glasses to provide a level of protection. They are not what they are described to be. Not for shooting or protection from debris.

👤Finally! Someone who wears prescription glasses feels like a leper or an inadequate stooge if they wear shooting glasses. I wear Ray Ban Club Master prescription glasses and these things fit over the top of them perfectly, so they don't jam my glasses down onto my nose. Earmuffs on the glasses don't make them any less comfortable. I have worn them all day on the range without any fatigue, hot spots, or frustration. They don't make you look like a dork. The clear and yellow ones were purchased for use over sunglasses and regular prescription glasses. On a cloudy day, the yellow tint version makes your view brighter. For the past six months, I have worn one pair to the range at least once a week and they are not damaged. I try to take good care of them, so I put them in a case and wash them in warm soapy water, then wipe them dry with a soft cotton towel. I put them in the case.

👤They are perfect for people in the medical field. They fit perfectly over glasses.

👤These are very comfortable. I don't notice they are there. They don't fog when wearing a mask and they don't pinch my nose too much.

👤It's lightweight and comfortable. The blue light seems to increase contrast and give a sharper view when yellow lens is used. Also protects against harmful UV rays. There is a hard case and cleaning cloth.

👤These are light, clear, and have less distortion than most yellow safety/shooting hunting glasses. When I sent them back, the return handling was not normal. These don't hold together and feel cheap. I needed glasses, but the case was the best part. I've used a number of different brands of glasses over the years, and was looking to buy a nice or premium set of yellow glasses for hunting. I have several pairs of changeable lens and every color of the V30 safety glasses. Both have been great for most activities, but I was willing to invest in another pair to reduce the minor distortion I find in polycarbonate lens. The case is "A++". The case was the best part of the glasses. It is a quality case. This was a nice package. I think these had lens distortion. They were a little more orange than the others. They are light and thin. Some of the cheapest, thin, plastic, standard frames are called "D" the frames. They are light but rough. The lens came out of the frame when wiping it. It is not in place. These are dollar store plastic frames. If I saw them at the dollar store, I wouldn't buy them. When looking at reviews, look for recent ones. It's possible that they changed factories to save money, and they aren't the same quality glasses they used to be. Fit: "D" for me, "A-B" for others. These are similar to most sunglasses. I've always had trouble finding sunglasses that fit my big head, and these pinched my head the same way. I wouldn't wear these for a long period of time. If you have normal sunglasses, you'll be fine. I didn't have the same issue with the bridge. I didn't have to push these away from my face to get a decent fit. The V30 safety glasses are the most comfortable I've ever worn and the radian are good. I wouldn't wear these because they were so cheap. These glasses are from the dollar store. I'll stick to those since the V30 safety glasses are only $5 on sale or in bulk. The vendor and Amazon return policy was amazing. The return process was quick and easy.

👤I bought these shooting glasses to be safe while my rifle is shooting and that was all. I am able to see a bit better with the amber color as it takes out the glare I had before and allows for a better view down range. I was very impressed with the quality of the frames and how well they fit on my face, as well as the case that it comes with! I would recommend these to anyone.

👤Excellent quality for its price. When the weather is humid, the no-fog feature is appreciated. The scratch-proof glasses are the same. The glasses are very comfortable to wear and the yellow color enhances shooting targets. The case is a big plus.

👤I work at the regional airport. Jet engines and other sources of high-decibel sound are where I work. I was dissatisfied with my employer's passive hearing protection, so I went for the Impact Pro. I have used them at work for a month now, they have taken abuse, but have performed well, with no damage, no lose battery cover, and the first pair ofAAAs still going strong. This is a big set of earmuffs, but it wears well and fits over my base cap. With the large frame of my glasses, it provides exceptional hearing protection, and if I switch on the amplifier, I can hear weaker noises. The circuit needs a fraction of a second to ramp up, wind noises get amplified, and sometimes the radio emissions from close-by airplanes feed into the circuit. It's like a sixth sense, and you can see if the plane is active or not. The amplifier doesn't pick out voice frequencies specifically, so voices can still get lost in the general noise level, but I can understand a lot more than I could with the simple, passive earmuffs I used before. Highly satisfied! The first set ofAAAs quit after 4 months of daily use. The earmuffs have been dragged and dropped, but they still work like new. They didn't lose even the rainiest days. The electronics have now died, but still provides passive hearing protection. I was hoping they would last longer than a year.

👤I have been using the compact version of these for a while. It has been my go to for protection. I work several days a week at an indoor police range. The sound is reflected off the walls. It can get pretty loud if you add 13 simultaneous shooters. The PRO version has a NRR of 30. I noticed the difference right away. The voice and ambient sound amplification is more than enough to hear normal conversation and range commands. The 30db noise reduction is the highest that I have ever seen. It surpasses the high end devices in hearing protection ratings. They are a little bulkier than the compacts and do not fold like them. It doesn't interfere with my long guns and has a comfortable headband. You only get one pair of ears.

👤I know that there are many reviews about this item. I purchased the Impact Pro and Impact Sport and wanted to share my experience. I was very happy with the first one I got. The sound is clear and loud enough to be heard better with a naked ear. I used them for target practice with a.22 pistol and they worked well until someone else shot a bigger caliber and the Impact Sport R-25024 was not effective. I was fairly disappointed when I saw the Pro Sound. If they did not have the same brand name, you would think the Impact Pro is a better product than the Impact Sport. The Impact Sport has sponges over the microphones that make them more wind resistant than the Impact Pro, but the Impact Pro do not cover the mics. The Impact Pro and Impact Sport amplify the sounds and you can hear better if you put them on. They are larger than the Impact Sport and they fold differently. The case for them was also given to me.
