The iRobot Genius that learns your habits and routines is what makes the Roomba i3+ robot vacuum a clean unique to you. You can choose to have your robot start cleaning when you leave and stop when you come home, so you only notice the clean, but never the cleaning. Straight-line navigation uses floor tracking sensors to clean inneat rows. The i3+ will resume where it left off when it needs to refill. 10x power lifting system and a Premium 3-stage cleaning system are included in the price of the Roomba i3+ robot vacuum. Compared to the Roomba 600 series cleaning system. iRobot's Patented Dirt Detect Technology allows the Roomba i3+ robot vacuum to detect dirtier areas of your home and clean them more thoroughly. Instead of using a single bristle brush, Roomba i3+ robot vacuum works with dual multi- surface rubber brushes that flex to adjust to different floor types and avoid getting tangled with pet hair. Automatic recharges. When the robot's battery is low, it will find its base and keep going until the next cleaning.
👤I own an older version of the iRobot Roomba and it's been more than 6 years since I last used it. I was excited to check out the new features in the new version. It's not very clear if it's better to stay with a lower end model or get a higher end one, unless this one checks all your needs, hopefully the following will help you decide. Design It's the same size as my older one but is a lot lighter. The weight balance is not good and the unit is a lot heavier in the back. The handle on my older Roomba was not the same as this one. Maybe iRobot doesn't plan on you lifting this thing. The next upper texture finish is something I like. The built quality is a bit better than the old ones, but the sounds it makes are nicer and modern. There is still a small bumper up front that can detect a wall. There is a spinning side brush, a new air force cleaning system, and some extra sensors for navigation on the bottom. It's pretty quick to charge. The older model I own is quicker. The charging station is the same as the old one. There are three buttons. One for clean on/off and one for communication setup. The older model has a noise level that is slightly lower than the newer model. You can schedule it to work when you are away from home. My older model had advance features that could only be accessed using the iRobot app. The power and ability of the older model has been improved. I was surprised it was better than the older design. Dust bin is smaller and a bit awkward to place back compared to when it's slide in and out, you need to first insert it in an angle and then slide it in. It seemed to adjust for different surfaces. It will pick up from where it left off. * The rest of the parts are the same issues as the Silicon brushes, which is a shame. The brush and wheels can cause hair to get tangled. Dust bin has funny corners to get it clean. You get an additional filter. I would like to see a washable filter in the Dyson products. There are a lot of features to explore, from scheduling and sync with other products, to receiving notification on cleaning progress, to voice control link and so on. Most of the features will be useless for most people, but the user interface is sleek and modern. It's a nice budget upgrade for older models, unless you have a higher end model which has more features. If you don't need all the features of a robot or a self emptying station, there are two lower tiers that will be cheaper. If you need more features like room cleaning, anti allergen and more, look into higher end models. I don't think iRobot has done enough with this model in the price range.
Patented lid shox technology controls the motion of the lid for a silent close. Pets and children can't get into the trash if the lid is locked. There is a stay-open LID. The lid stays open for as long as you want. Semi-round shape is great for high traffic areas. It's ideal for large families or busy households. Simplehuman's code P liners are designed to fit this can perfectly so they don't slip, and they stay completely hidden. Extra-thick plastic and double-seam construction prevent tears.
👤This trash can is a bad one. People have been asking where I got it. I came home yesterday and it was closed and there were teeth marks in the room. My dogs couldn't get inside the bag because they ripped up the outside. I enjoy it. I have two dogs who are major deterrents, one is an Australian Shepherd and the other is a Siberia husky. They would get into the trash when I came home. I haven't had a trash can in a year. I found a locking trash can after searching. My dogs have knocked it over and scratched at it, and we are unable to get any garbage out. The best investment ever. Many of my friends with dogs are asking where I got this. Some of them have already ordered after seeing mine work. I definitely recommend this.
👤The trash can worked well for 18 months, then the pedal broke, making it hard for the lid to open. The pedal couldn't lift the lid after it broke on the other side. I bought this trash can because of the 5 year warranty. The trash can stopped working in less than 2 years and I was expecting a free pedal quickly and painlessly. I tried to contact the customer service but they have a trick on their website. When I tried to click the "Submit" button on the web page, it wouldn't let me scroll down all the way. The website would bounce back up before I could click on it. This company has more tricks up their sleeves, so just wait. After giving up trying to find a useful customer service friendly phone number, I figured out if I connected my Apple laptop to Apple TV and used my TV screen, I could see and click the "submit" button. The first hoop was from the folks at simplyhuman. I didn't hear anything until 4 after the company's email promised a reply in 2 days. Hopefully my replacement pedal is on the way after I received a response. Despite having all the necessary information, I still can't get confirmation from Amazon that the product is still under warranty. They want me to order it myself and then direct me to the same page I started at. I clear the next hoop. The end of the story is that simplehuman throws another hoop at me to try to crush my determination to get them to honor their warranty. The replacement pedal they force me to order is out of stock. Can you believe it? When I sent my original email, it was in stock. I replied to the link asking for feedback about their service and the email was similar to the one I sent about my unhappiness. No response, still waiting, broken trash can goes wanting, so do I.
👤I don't understand all the positive reviews. The design is narrow at the bottom so that the lid doesn't hit the wall. When you step on the thing, it pushes the base against the wall, marks the wall with the lid, and causes the lid to interfere with the wall. I taped a box to the back of the can. The metal lid- opening device is attached to the pedal with cheap plastic extension-thingies. The first one to break was a few months ago. The second several months after that. The lid has changed from opening to mostly opening, and now I use my hand to open it.
The new version fits under the cabinets. The power of most hand-held vacuums is not comparable to the power of the Suction-5. Never buy re-usable bags again. There is an optional extendable hose and accessories kit. 30 minutes to fit-cutout template included.
👤I would install a central vacuum system if I were building a new house from scratch. No matter what kind of vacuum cleaner I use, I will always use it. They all have drawbacks. A few years ago, I got the idea of getting a device that looks like a paper shredder, where you sweep the debris toward it, and it will turn on automatically, and a powerful motor swoops everything into it. I have to use it several times a day to clean up after the pets, it is one of the best home gadgets I have ever bought. I like the idea but I don't like sitting out in the open. When I saw that there was a variety of the same thing with all of the benefits, I immediately wanted one and have been shopping for one for a few months. I ordered this brand because I saw it and had the chance to try it. The product is plastic and has a metal looking front panel. I don't have a lot of confidence that the front panel won't be scratched and messy after a while, considering that you will be pushing a broom toward it and likely be kicking it a lot. I was expecting a better quality of construction based on the description. Installation can be simple, but there are a few things that they don't tell you. It's important that you have a place to plug it in. If you want to put it in a bathroom, you will need to call an electrician to wire an under sink power outlet in to conform to code. Most kitchens in recent years have an outlet under the sink for the disposal and often for the dishwasher. You don't want to work with electrical wiring where there's water nearby, so try to locate the vacuum so you can plug it in directly. There is a nice how-to- install video available. It's pretty nice, but it completely ignores the fact that you need to plug it in until the end of the video, where they say, oh yeah, now plug it in. The video shows that they use a DC powered motor with a wall plug transformer. The unit has a standard grounded AC power plug. One of the things you should know is that they lead you to believe that you can cut the kickboard off and then you can use it somewhere else. It is not possible to remove a kitchen cabinet without ruining it, and cutting it in place is difficult. The entire process of cutting the right opening to mount this device is best left to very skilled woodworkers, it is probably well beyond the capabilities of most people. This is a very deep unit. I only had a couple of inches to spare from the kick panel to the back of the motor. If your counter is less deep than standard, you might not be able to fit it. There is no standard height for kick panels. The ones in my old home were too small to use this product. The ones in my new home are higher than I have seen before. Don't think that this will fit in all of the counter spaces. Don't guess anything, one final thought on installation. My cabinets are built with a solid bottom base which means the vacuum can't be installed at room floor level but rather about a half-inch off the floor. When you sweep debris toward the nozzle, you have to lift it up rather than straight into the hole. The motor is not powerful enough to handle things like cat litter or pet food. If you can't mount the nozzle at floor level in your installation, it may not be your best choice. There is an operation. You can sweep everything in the direction of the vac with a broom or mop. When you get close to the vacuum, just tape the front-mounted switch with your toe or broom edge. You should know that some brands use a motion sensor to turn the motor on when you get close. I don't like that style at all. Why? If your pet comes close to your vacuum in the middle of the night and the motor turns on, you will know the answer to that question. I have only used the motion sensor option once, and I never use it again. It is important to know that this vacuum is very loud, much louder than I anticipated. I thought being under the cabinet would make the sound less loud. The motor is only on for a short time. One of the top selling points on this page is the idea of cleaning bags. They include 4 replaceable bags in the box and sell replacement bags for forty dollars, which is a bit more than they used to charge. A bag is too expensive. When I buy something from a startup company that requires a certain amount of consumables, I always have a concern about how long that company will be around and if I will ever be able to buy supplies for their product again. The product undergoes design changes as they bring it to market and they include a pre-installed bag. The bag is not easy to clean, but I think it will be reuse for a while. Most new vacuum cleaners use a plastic container, which I would prefer to reuse. The disposable bags hold a lot. Your house and mine are not the same. The emptying bag simply pulls out and dumps into the trash. One of the two models is taller than the other so it would not fit under most cabinets. Their page only shows one of them. Go for the slimmer one. I like the under counter vacuum. The installation will probably be more difficult for most people than you think. The intake nozzle is too small, the motor is weak and the central vacuum system is still needed. It is a work saver. I have a big concern about the cost and availability of replacement disposable bags, when or if I find a generic debris bag that fits this model, I will let you know.
Simplehuman's strong steel pedal can last over 150,000 steps for 20 years, which is more than 20 steps a day. Simplehuman's patented lid shox technology controls the motion of the lid for a slow, silent close. It's perfect for the bathroom or wherever space is limited. The inner bucket can be moved for easy trash disposal. If your bucket gets messy over time, replace it with an inexpensive replacement bucket. The non-skid base has rubber pads that are gentle on the floors and keep the can steady. FINGERPRINT-PROOF is a finish that resists smudges. The code A liners are designed to fit perfectly so they don't slip, and they stay completely hidden. Extra-thick plastic and double-seam construction prevent tears.
👤I was shopping for step-on waste baskets because I needed to firmly close the lid on the ordinary waste baskets because my dogs were fascinated with the contents. I read the reviews to see if they were worth the price after I found the simplehuman 1.2 gallon compact step ons with lids. The reviewers were very pleased with them, but many complained that they were too light and tipping over easily. I set out to find the perfect fix since they needed more weight and balance in the bottoms of the cans. I had searched at home for anything that would work, but found nothing, so I thought about putting something similar under the plastic can liner, or something similar, with a small diameter and weight, and the lid would not close properly. Finding that fix was difficult. The barbell weights came to mind, the smaller light weight type. I found it! The Weider 2.5 lbs. is the fix that works for me. The weight hammertone plate is thin enough to not disrupt the mechanism of the lid opening and closing. I got one for each of the simplehuman step ons for each of our bathroom because they were on Ebay for $3 each. The weights were a perfect fit in every way, and not once has either can tipped over or even moved! Every time, the lids open and close correctly. I have no complaints about these steps. I don't have to remind our guests to close the bathroom door when they leave, and the doors are open, so I can just clean up the mess.
👤The little trashcan is pretty. Excellent quality, deep rich color. Is it the best feature? The lid keeps our naughty dog from rummaging through the bathroom trash and bringing us his favorite finds as gifts while we sit on the couch. With guests.
👤It's an inexpensive trash can. I didn't have high expectations. I was familiar with the brand's reputation, but how amazing can a $20 trash can be? Solid construction is a pros. The white finish is of a quality. Excellent pedal mechanism. The can should not tilt forward when opening because the pedal should be wider. There are slides around. It moves! Simplehuman tried to fix the sliding problem with a set of rubber feet at the front, but it created an unfortunate wobble. I had to glue the liner to the feet so it wouldn't move. I'm very pleased with the results of my macgyver training techniques. Five stars for the shelf liner solution.
👤The Simplehuman bronze step trash can has been in my possession for about 8 months. I don't like it. The color was nice and it came with a few small dents. I kept it. The bronzing has continued to chip off around the edges. It's terrible. It wasn't roughly handled. It may hold trash, but it has become trash itself. I will try the same color in a plastic wicker version.
👤The size of the trash can is okay, but expect bags to show in between the lid and the trash can. I bought the liners that were designed for this. The outer lid of the inner waste basket is not covered by the lid. You will need to find small black bags that fit this can if you want to minimize the look of the bags showing. When the trash can lid is not open, the human bags are not a good look. If the white bags are going to show around the lip of the inner waste basket, why buy a bronze colored trash can?
NEAT AND SECURE - The liner rim flips up for a quick and easy liner change, then closes over the liner to keep it hidden from sight. Keep liners where you need them. If you want a faster liner change, put them one by one inside the can. Simplehuman's strong steel pedal can last over 150,000 steps for 20 years, which is more than 20 steps a day. Simplehuman's patented lid shox technology controls the motion of the lid for a slow, silent close. Dent-PROOF PLASTIC LID doesn't show dirt or fingerprints. InterNAL HINGE prevents the lid from bumping the wall. FINGERPRINT-PROOF is a finish that resists smudges. Code M liners are extra strong and designed to fit this can perfectly. The new liner pocket feature in refill packs makes it easy to store liners in cans.
👤The can is beautiful, but Simplehuman put a big flaw in all of their cans. The bag dispensers are in each can. The opening is supported by a purple piece of plastic. The hole in the can adds a block to the back of it. The plastic holder popped out of the can after a month of use. The plastic holder claws into the trash bag making it impossible to take out. It's a huge flaw in the name of selling bags.
👤I didn't click on the hole in the back of the can when I read the reviews and product information. I will never buy the Simple Human bags and store them in a compartment in the back of my can, I will buy whatever bags are at the market and store them under my sink. The bag dispensers is useless to me because I want a fully sealed trash can. I just spent $100 on a can with a big hole in the back and I am going to have to seal it up.
👤Can you fall in love with a trash can? I don't know if it's because I've been suck in the house for so long with these kids or if I'm really in love. This thing is gorgeous, I will say it is half and half. *>
👤The reason for a 4 star is because the inside compartment has a holder for the bags that isn't perfect and sometimes I rip the bag out when I take it out. There was no luck trying to push the plastic piece back in.
👤The kitchen trash bin is one of the things I don't think you have to spend a lot of money on. You end up having to purchase things over and over again if you don't pay much. The simple human trash bin was purchased because of its quality. It was not easy to clean those. The clasp was plastic and broke. You have to put the lid back on it. You have to find a bag to put it in. The human trash bin is not the same as the simple human trash bin. There is a small compartment on the back that holds trash bags. The only thing I dislike is that it's barely noticeable in the kitchen, but I have the 45L bin and it fits perfectly. It has been easy to clean. So far, it's worth it. The bags might be a little more expensive for some. I like to purchase them because of the bag compartment on the can. I have some glad force bags that work well.
👤It's hard to find the perfect trash can. This model has a pedal-open. If you have it against a wall or cabinet, it will get scratched if you use it a lot. It's still a pain to constantly re-adjust the position of the can, even though I have some 3M felt dots to cushion the back part that hits the wall. I can't recommend it because of this movement. Next time, I will use a can with a swinging lid.
Treela is a clean modern design that offers the look of wood without staining or warping. It is durable and functional. A cylinder shaped trash can with an open top and a barn wood exterior is a modern take on a household essential. Treela can be used to add a stylish, decorative touch to virtually any space including your powder room, bedroom, living room, office, study or dorm room. Treela is a small, versatile waste bin that provides a clean and elegant look for holding your waste or recycling. Treela is a small, versatile waste bin that provides a clean and elegant look for holding your waste or recycling.
👤These are very nice. They upgrade my home. These are sturdy and fit standard bin liners. It is easy to wipe clean. Ask my crazy dog if it's easy to knock over. It's a good thing.
👤The design of the trash can made me want to put it in my bedroom. Before buying, please check the size. I am fine with it being large in size. It is light and can be easily moved around. The can's outer surface is very smooth. I bought 4 gallons of trash bags and they fit. People who are bothered by that should buy the right size trash bags.
👤They were all $60 and I was looking for a tall plant pot holder. This is half the price. Don't use drain holes because it's an artificial tree.
👤I own two of these trash cans. When they drop back to less than $20, you should order another. They are sturdy, have a heavy base that they don't fall over, and are able to hold a lot. There are two of them in the office and one in the bathroom. The third one was smashed against the other two items, so it is warped. I deducted a star for how it was packaged and not sure if it will be able to be warped back, but it is a garbage can, so not a big deal.
👤The trash can arrived today. It didn't do well in its packaging or travel.
👤I turned one bedroom into a library after buying a log cabin. I hated the waste baskets that were available in local stores. I wanted something small. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that was attractive. My choices were limited to the "metal mesh office style", the "incredibly overpriced and tiny decorative can intended for a bathroom", and the "plastic printed with goofy looking novelty design". This one is just the right size. It's nice looking. It's not fine art because it's a plastic trash can with a printed wood grain. It's great for fifteen bucks. It has a nice grey tone and makes a nice contrast against my pine log walls. It seems sturdy, not thin or brittle. It's a good choice if you don't want to spend a lot of money. The reviewer thinks it's overpriced for a plastic trash can, but it's only a few dollars less for a waste basket of this size. I was happy to spend a little more to get something that looked nice. I might buy a second one for my bedroom.
👤This is a large trash can. I use it in my bathroom. I am used to having tiny wastebaskets, but this fits perfectly in my space. It looks great. It is lightweight for easy emptying.
👤I read reviews and debated whether to buy the trash can. The color is beigy-gray and I liked it. I wanted a larger can in our bathroom. This was a great purchase for me and I am very happy I bought it. It's made of plastic, but the print looks more expensive than it costs. I use 4 gallon trash bags. The obvious seam in the print was the reason this got 4 stars. I make sure the seam is against the wall. I might try one for my husband's office.
Theremovable ring liner holds the trash bag in place and prevents it from overhanging for a neat and clean appearance. Use any standard trash bags or custom bags from Ninestars. A standard 13 Gallon / 50 liter can fit 50 liters. Take fewer trips to dispose of trash. It's perfect for large families with a Black Bag with a capacity of 20 gallons. The growth of odor causingbacteria in the can be prevented by the use of CLOROX ODOR PROTECTION. Convenient to store extra bags right behind the trash can, it's easy to move the can. HINGED FRAME. The hinges on the lid frame make it easy to place and remove trash bags. The trash can is wide, deep, and high. Bag rigging is the act of keeping a bag in place and preventing it from falling in. The open button can be pressed to keep the lid open for continuous use or disposal of large amounts of trash. Press the close button. The motion sensor opens the lid by the motion of the hand above it and closes after 5 seconds. The lights count down the seconds. You don't need to touch the lid anymore. FINGERPRINT RESISTANT keeps your can clean.
👤We've had this trash can for a long time. The bags are cheap and the size is great, but the body is not flat and the batteries need to be replaced often. The automatic lid works. I think it won't last long as it makes a screeching noise when opening. The high price is for the lid. I'll modify it into an open container after that because I'll get tired of replacing batteries. I wouldn't buy it again.
👤The automatic lid has stopped working after 2 months of use. I changed the batteries and it won't open. The waste was almost $100.
👤My husband and I have this in our kitchen. I love it! It's easy when I'm cooking and I have dirty hands or my hands are full with opened packages. I throw the trash in the trashcan after walking over it. Done. There was no mess or fumbling. I'm glad we bought the larger size. I don't feel like I'm emptying the trash all the time. The Glad trash bags have a nice scent. I have not been able to smell the trash that has been thrown away. I was hesitant to spend money on a trashcan, but I think it's worth it. I would buy it again if I needed another one. The trash can lid does open when we walk by it, which is annoying to people. It's located next to my kitchen island and it gets a lot of traffic. It doesn't bother me, but others might not like that. Highly recommended.
👤We replaced this can twice and are now on our third product. We exchanged them for the second time through the manufacturer because the lid hinge stopped working, and the first time through Amazon because it had a grinding sound. When the second can broke, my husband took the lid apart and discovered that the plastic gears that open and close the lid had broken. We now know that it wasn't a faulty can, but a forced closing of the lid, because it scared them. The can was placed in a high traffic area and every time someone walked by it popped open. The gears were not meant to be closed in the open position. There are some suggestions for this can. It should be in a lower traffic area so that it doesn't pop open when you walk through the kitchen. 2. When you need it in a convenient spot, use the manual open icon to keep it open while you work, then manually close it when you are done, and when you don't need it anymore, use the motion sensor to keep it open. 3. The power switch should be turned off when not in use. It would be a good idea to inform your teenagers that not to slam the lid shut.
👤I loved this product, but then it stopped working. The motion sensor would make a clicking sound when it was activated, but it wouldn't open. I replaced the batteries because I thought they were dead, but they still won't work. I have to pry the lid open when I put trash in it. I have been trying to find a way to return it, but Amazon says the window has closed. I tried to contact customer service at both Amazon and Glad, but have not received a response. Save your money! It's not worth the price for a bad product and the hassle of trying to get it replaced. I have been trying to get the broken trash can replaced, but it is not possible.
The 1000 watt vacuum is fast and powerful. EyeVac fits into any room with a hard floor. It's perfect for pet owners and parents. The EyeVac has a powerful motor that can pick up a lot of things. The high effluent filters are used. The EyeVac has 2 high efficiency filters that help remove dust, dirt and debris from your home. Touchless operation. The EyeVac can be activated by the use of the sensors that detect the sweeping motion.
👤I love it! It works great, but I wish it was a little more quiet. It was warned that it wouldn't work well in low light with a broom. I had a broom with dark bristles and it was in a dim corner. Excited to see how this helps me. My kids said it looked like a penguin, so I added a beak. See the picture.
👤There is a lot to teach about physics, math, and philosophy. The Sisyphean fight against entropy is exemplified by the little line of dirt left behind by the dustpan, which reduces in magnitude by half each time you try to sweep it up, and yet you can never make it. The Eye-Vac has helped alleviate the crisis I have when I clean my house. The dirt is sucked into the black hole of the Eye-Vac if you sweep the undesirable atoms into the sensor zone. Highly recommended.
👤I got this for my kitchen. It works as expected. People can startle if they walk too close. I use it in a completely different way now. I had a problem with one of my cats. She hit at my bedroom door at night. She was ruining the carpet and keeping us awake. I can not let her in the bedroom because of allergies. I thought I would try Eye-Vac after seeing videos of aerosol sprays. Success! I get to sleep through the night because of the eye-vac. Everyone is happier now that the cats are sleeping outside the bedroom door. A good night sleep makes a big difference in our lives.
👤This is a great vacuum! I wish I could give it 5 stars, but it didn't work out. I decided to open it and see if anything was broken after reading reviews of people having a hard time returning products. The sensor was not connected to the electrical board. It works fine now after being hooked back up. I would love to have one in every corner. When I opened it up, it was clear that it wasn't brand new. There was a nasty build up inside. I had to fix it and got 1 star off. 2 stars were taken off for clearly sending a used product. It was gross.
👤I clean my floors every couple of days because I have hardwood floors and 3 dogs. I like the auto feature. I have collected the dog hair and dirt and it sucks. I can take it to the downstairs family room to clean the floors. There is no need for a broom or dustpan to get the dirt and dog hair up. I use a regular hardwood floor vacuum weekly for thorough cleanings. It's very easy to sweep the floors in between vacuuming.
👤I love this thing. I have 3 long haired dogs and they all take up a lot of hair. I almost didn't get it because of the review. That isn't the case. It keeps the hair in place and doesn't let it go. I empty it once a week and clean it almost daily.

Simplehuman's invisible silver-ion coating resists fingerprints and the spread of germs without dulling the natural sheen and luster of the steel. One side for trash and the other for recycling. Simplehuman's patented lid shox technology controls the motion of the lid for a slow, silent close. InterNAL HINGE prevents the lid from bumping the wall. Code H liners are extra strong and designed to fit this can perfectly. The new liner pocket feature in refill packs makes it easy to store liners in cans.
👤I have an admission. I bought a really expensive garbage can because I am a well educated frugal consumer. I love it! One of the best kitchen purchases I have ever made. I live with five people. Everything in one big bucket is recycled in our town. We used to leave the recycling on the counter when we had a step trash can. That eventually led to having a bag sit on top of the trash can with various amounts of recycling. It was not nice. I have looked at various Simplehuman solutions. I was close to purchasing on several occasions, but I just couldn't. How can trash be worth anything? The liners, oh the liners. I don't know how I could be in a situation to buy liners from the trash can company. Really! Then it happened. The dog is taking the recycling around the house and I finally got angry. I didn't like having to move the bag to throw out the trash. I found the trash can. I used to worry that there wasn't enough trash or recycling room under the lid. I could not find a trash bin in this can. I pulled the gun. I paid $200 for a recycling can and cried. I could always return it. I could tie a 13 gallon liner on the trash side and not have to use their liners. The can came. I put the sample set of H size liners in the convenient pocket on the back of the trash side when I pulled it out of the box. All of a sudden, there is more room for trash. The skies opened and the angels sang. I have to tell you that it's worth it. The can performs well. I can throw the recycling bucket in the town bin when I get to the garage. The bags are tied up and the size is slid out to the trash can. I put a new liner in the nice slot before I leave with the full bag. Genius. Oh, and about the liners. They work. I spent a lot of money to get a lot of them because they are so convenient in the pocket on the trash can, and they work really, really well. 👤I had buyer's remorse as soon as I hit the one-click button, because I never imagined I would spend so much for a trash can. Think about it. I live in a one bedroom apartment with only one trash can. It's something I see a lot. The $10 Rubbermaid had food dribbling from the edges and had to be hosed out weekly. I use this with regular garbage bags. I have arthritis in my fingers and it's painful to insert a new bag, but it probably goes with the territory. I chuckled when I read reviews that said this holds more than a regular bag. It seems to me! I don't have any facts to support this. Look at it sideways, if you're complaining that they could do without the liner bag at the back. The bag liner storage is not caused by the door hinges. The bin is devoted to holding the garbage. The edges of the garbage bag are hidden by the bag storage system. I was told that it's good at keeping odors down. I don't have a sense of smell, but I hope so. My rubbermaid did not. If you're going to spend $5,000 on a kitchen renovation, this is small change. It makes my small kitchen look better and work better. I caved and bought the Simple Human trash bags. They're easier to fit on the bin, they're designed to disappear under the rim, and they seem to be better quality than the Glad bags I'd been using. The Glad bags often had a leak from something sharp-edged in the trash. Everyone knows what a hassle it is when the trash bag falls apart as you try to get it to the garbage chute.
Your 100% satisfaction is assured and backed by a full-service manufacturer's warranty and dedicated customer support. The motion of your hand opens the lids. The choice is to avoid exposure to the germs that live on trash can surfaces. Stop. The AbsorbX Activated Natural Carbon Odor Filter is included to absorb and neutralize trash odors, for a cleaner and healthier home. Extra-long battery life only draws power when needed. The batter life of garbage cans is 3X. The batteries can last up to 1.5 years. There are two power options, one powered by an AC Adapter and the other by 4 D size batteries.
👤It's been a blessing to use this as a diaper bin. We only smell the nastiness when the lid is open. You wouldn't know the horrors that were inside. Since I bought it, it's been running strong. The bag ring is great and it is easy to replace. The bag is completely concealed with the top back. I'm not sure how much the charcoal filter helps, but it works perfectly for odor when the can is closed, and I was worried about it. The unit looks great as an added bonus. This is a workhorse and I have been using it daily for six months. When I received the batteries, I was able to block diaper odor and still run on the same batteries. The lid decided to give up on me a couple weeks ago, after working perfectly since last November. I swapped in a new set and nothing happened. There was no light, no movement, and nothing at all. I thought I might as well try customer care and write it off. I sent them an email with a screen shot of my original order. I got an email back within 24 hours with an incident number and instructions to call in for service. I called in thinking they would want me to send in the lid, but they said their policy had changed, and I had to pay a $9.95 service/shipping and handling fee, and a new lid would be sent out. They didn't want the old one back. I paid the fee because it would cost more to just ship the original lid in. I received my new lid a week later. I can't say enough good things about the customer service I received from itouchless. I'm leaving my review at five stars because it was very simple. 👤I waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to make sure the product was long- lasting. There is a tiny kitchen in our beach house and a weird space for a trash can. I researched forever and finally settled on this one. It is perfect in the space and has exceeded my expectations. It fits a lot of trash in a discreet way. I like it.
👤I only had these cans for a month. They hold a lot of trash. I used to throw the trash out. The trash cans hold a lot of trash. I bought the stickers on Amazon.
👤The trash can I bought 8 years ago is still there. The fact that this was the most reasonable and it had an automated lid seemed like a pretty easy choice at the time. It works great and still looks great. There is a button on the front of the device that you can use to open the lid. The lid is very good at keeping odors out while it's closed. I wouldn't change out the carbon filters in it to use the advertised deodorizer, and I've never bothered to do that either. The cord is battery powered, and there is no AC adapter, which is mentioned in the review. It states that the batteries last for a year, but I find they last much longer than that for us and we use them regularly. Kitchen bags are used. There is a plastic ring inside the bag that keeps the bag from hanging out over the edges. Even if you put a lot of heavy items in the garbage, it does a great job of keeping the bag in place.
5-year warranty Their products will last for years in tough environments because they use the best materials. The center-weighted swing lid opens and then swings back into place. The lid comes off easily to empty the contents. Smooth plastic inner lining is easy to clean. FINGERPRINT-PROOF FINISH resists smudges.
👤A cute bin. I think it's appropriate for countertop storing since I will be using it as a bathroom trash can. You can buy trash bag liners in bulk on Amazon, and they are the perfect size for doggie poop bags.
👤I wanted a mini trash can for my nightstand to hold my daily contacts. My husband was tired of finding cruchy contacts on the floor. Then lo and behold. The little trash is useful for things like panty liner wraps and tags. It takes me about 2 weeks to fill it up and I love it, I wish they made a mini liner for it.
👤I bought a trash can to place next to our Keurig for disposal of used Kcups. The top comes off easily for emptying and cleaning. I was very pleased with my purchase and I sat in the coffee station in our kitchen. Thank you for taking the time to review, it helped me, I read others' reviews and decided to give it a try. There are no regrets.
👤The trash on my countertop is plastic and has a bad smell. I ordered the "stainless steel" one and found out that the can is plastic. I will return it.
👤I have a can for my bathroom. I thought it would be your standard, next to the toilet trash can, if I paid more attention to the measurements. I was wrong. It is small. It fits a few q-tips and maybe some tissue. Don't buy this one if you want a more standard size bin.
👤I was looking for something to sit on the counter to place the empty Pods. The Simplehuman was one of the two brands I ordered, it was allstainless steel. I own a lot of Simplehuman trash cans, which I am very pleased with. The other brand looks cheap. The Simplehuman looks great. I am happy. This isn't a sit on the floor trash can. It is a little under a half gallon and can be used to sit on a cabinet, night stand, etc. Trash bags are easy to find.
👤There is no motion detection or a lock feature on this can, but I wasn't looking for those features to begin with. This is on my kitchen cabinet. I bought an arm and a hammer to line it up. I would like to get a couple 3xtra for the bathroom counter.
👤The trash can on top of my bathroom countertop is very useful for my makeup trash. I don't have to run back and forth from my bathroom trash. There is a bottle of gin. I could not find anything in my house that was the same size.
👤The item is well made and looks good on the counter, where it can be put in a cannister. There is a The flip lid reduces the capacity of the bin by over an inch and the bin needs to be emptied more quickly than I had thought. It's a useful product for storing compostable waste separate from general waste.
